This house of worship has gallery used before the War Between the States for Negro slaves. It is one of the few Methodist Churches which was used by a Baptist Congregation for several years." MV-7. Handwritten by Frank Looney on back: "This building originally belonged to Presbyterian Church. Was abandoned and used by Methodist for possibly a century and abandoned and is now again used by Presbyterian. But no congregation holds regular service there. F.M.L. 10-1-79"
